Duracell rechargeable batteries, primarily used in my digital camera, last longer than Duracell disposable batteries, cost only twice as much as standard batteries, and can be used many times over. Pre-charged are recommended as standard rechargeable tend to lose charge quickly if not used right after charging.

This is a quick review of the Duracell rechargeable batteries. We have two types here. One being our pre-charged and the second being our standard rechargeable battery. The main difference being the pre-charged will hold their charge for several months and the pre-charged after a week or so you're going to see you have to charge it before you can use it for an extended period of time, they loose their charge pretty quickly even though they are 2650 milliamp power versus the 2000 milliamp power in the pre-charged. You may ask what's the point about rechargeable batteries – well for the cost of about two batteries You can get one battery that you can use hundreds of times, all you have to do is charge it in the charger that comes in many models. It's very basic, it takes a long time, bit in the end you will be saving quite a lot of money by recharging your batteries and you'll also notice it lasts almost twice as long in some cases with these larger rechargeables in your digital devices like a camera. I took this on an extended photo trip and was able to get through pretty rigorous photos with only two sets of batteries over several days so they're fairly well charged. So to answer the question of whether you should get these batteries ask yourself do you use more than two batteries a month. If you do go out and pick up some rechargeable batteries, Duracell's a good option so go out and get them.
