Hey, today I am gonna review the LG 47LW5600 3D Television and the BD650 Network 3D Blu-ray Player. First I love the TV and the Blu-ray player but I had some initial concerns as to how my new technology will fit into my existing technology, my existing entertainment system. My old TV had limited inputs and outputs so I bought a source selector and through that source selector I run my Xbox 360, a PlayStation 3 and my DVD disc changer. To my pleasant surprise, this 3D television has 4 HDMI inputs so I ran 1 for my PS3, I use the other one, I use another one for my Blue-ray player and I still have 2 left to be able to expand on in the future. It also has a set of component inputs which was important since my disc changer don't have HDMI. So I ran that directly into the television and it also has stereo audio, ran those in and it has a digital fiber optic out so I ran the fiber optic out back into my stereo receiver and that completed the entertainment system. One of the downsides to this television is that the TV speakers are just adequate, they are not great. This TV was made to be placed inside of an entertainment system for maximum enjoyment and it does that very well. Okay so now I am gonna show you what came with the TV and the player. First is the remote for the TV, this is the remote for the Blu-ray player. This one is a little larger because it has more features. And this one is the Magic Motion Remote control. What this allows you to do is to point and it gives you a cursor and then you can select, move this around and select items on the screen which gives you a more intuitive way of selecting items that you want. And what 3D television won't be complete without a set of 3D glasses, this comes with 4 pairs. Now I am going to show you how this TV actually works. Okay now I am going to show you some features of the television. There is the start up screen and I am immediately going to go to the home page. As you can see I am using the Magic Motion Remote control to navigate this page and you can see that they have premium services like Hulu Plus and CinemaNow and YouTube and also Skype if you have the equipment, it also has Netflix and it also has the LG App Store because this is the smart TV. And in the app store you can find apps that you can download to your TV and play. See at the bottom of the screen it has search features, the app store available here as well, a web browser, a media link which allows you to connect your PC and have your PC serve as a media center to play any movies or music that you have stored on your personal computer, and then some games and the social center. It has things like Facebook and twitter that you can use that you can use from your television as well. I already have a media server setup and I can access it by clicking this button, it's automatically recognized since my TV is connected to my home network now. Not only I can browse the web but I can actually access my media center that I already have setup through the DLNA network that it recognizes as soon as your TV starts up. So what we have here is a, I am at the pause screen of a game called the Elder Scrolls Skyrim, it's running beautifully in 1080P on this television. One function of this television is that this is really need as it has cinema 3D and what that allows you to do is take any program or a 2D or a game or a 2D image or game and make it 3D. So you put that button, it says put on your glasses, say OK and then you choose the mode 2D to 3D and now if you can tell it is set-up for a 3D environment. I played this game on 3D, its, it takes you to the next level, makes it a truly immersive experience and had a lot of fun playing it that way. I also played, watched a couple of shows and switched it to 3D and it was fantastic. Hi, this is the 3D Blue-ray player, it's a standard player and, we are gonna put a DVD in or a blue-ray in and now I am gonna go to the screen and I am gonna show you how this network Blue-ray disc player works. Okay here we are at the home screen of the Blue-ray player and just like the television you can see that it uses smart TV technology. This is connected to my home network so right now if I wanted to, I can go and look at my photos, music or movies that's connected to my home devices like my personal computer or any media server that I have set-up. You can also get to the app store from here so you can download your apps directly to your blue-ray player and play them. I don't have any app stored at the time because I am just scratching the surface with what this thing can do and I haven't actually downloaded any apps yet. Now over right to the movie. I am showing this screen, this is a regular blue-ray and I am showing you the screen so you can see the picture quality and how vivid it is. It looks really really good, it's astonishing and this is at full 1080P resolution. Well that's my video review for the 47LW5600 3D television with the BD650 Network 3D Blu-ray Player.
