Good shave unless you have sensitive skin

    Pros: very smooth shave

Cons: bad for sensitive skin, refills are pricey

    Bought this product at: Walmart

This razor is very effective at making your face as smooth as possible. The only thing is that if you have sensitive skin, you will feel irritation. For me this comes around my cheeks and neck. The shaver's three blades do the job well, but you have to be very careful on where to shave because the shave is so smooth, you may not feel the razor irritating you until after you're done shaving. I recommend an aftershave for this razor, you will need it.

    Transcript of Video Review

Hi, you may notice that I have some shaving cream on my face, that's because this is my review of my Gillette product which is the Gillette Mach 3 Turbo. The Turbo is really easy to use. First the shaving head right there and all you have to do is place it on the cassette and take out one of those shaving blades right there. So I'm going to be shaving for you so I hope you're – I'll be talking to you about my shaving experience with the razor, I just hope you can tolerate the shaving for you so here we go. One thing I like about it is it's a very close shave. I have to be careful to not nick myself. There might be some guys out there that are saying I'm shaving wrong but it's really hard to shave when you're using your camera and mirror there. One thing I don't like about it is that the shaving heads are rather expensive. For instance I stayed with this shaving system because the shaving heads, once you get this you kind of don't want to go to anything else because sometimes the shaving heads aren't compatible. I know there's another Gillette product out there, I think it's the Fusion, And I bought that one before but the head isn't compatible with this one and I didn't really notice a difference with shaving so I just decided to stick with this one. Now the razor does have these little thing there at the bottom, it's a little blue thing and it kind of does take away from the razor burn and it kind of gives you a smoother gliding razor rather than if you were just shaving straight up without that buffer. Now one thing I am is I'm rather sensitive on my cheeks and my neck and I tend to get cut easily and this razor will nick me every once in a while. There you go right there. So I have a love-hate relationship with this razor. I love it because it is a great shave, it's a nice close squeaky clean shave but for sensitive skin it really doesn't do much. See that I nicked myself there. And I don't want to do my neck in front of you all because I'm afraid that I'll nick myself there too. And I do get irritated here on these sides of my neck. It won't give me ingrown hairs but it will cut me there. And then maybe different for different guys and different people but for me I don't necessarily like cutting there too much. You can see where I kind of nicked there. It looks like I'm somewhat done. I'm just going to towel off. There's my shave. And like I said very squeaky clean and it feels very great – great, great shave. What I do recommend is that before you shave with this razor you do have a scrub that you wash your face and you clean it and you also scrub it. That gives this shaver, this razor an opportunity to cut the hair more evenly and cut down lower to the face. I do also recommend a nice aftershave because if you are sensitive you will want to soothe that area that's irritable down there. For shaving cream I've used both the gel and foam shaving creams with this razor and both seem to work great. I'm more of a fan of the thicker foamier shaving creams. I have Barbasol, the old fashioned one dollar cans but just because It has a nice thick creamy foam that I can dig down with the razor. Overall I'd give this razor a three and a half to four stars. It's a good razor if you want to have the cheaper end razors, the disposable razor heads because the other ones are kind of expensive. Also it's just a very good razor. There's the proof, the proof is in the pudding, you've got my nice smooth face here. Just a word of warning is to make sure if you guys have sensitive skin to be careful on those areas with this razor and that's about it. That's my review for the Gillette Mach 3 Turbo. If you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them here on ExpoTV for you. thanks.
